Kara (Stacy) Brown graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts. Her main focus was printmaking but she has now ventured into stylized acrylic painting. Though born in the Texas Hill Country, she spent her childhood in the modish scenes of Miami, Florida. The modernism, vibrant colors, and ever changing trends had a lasting effect and clearly pervade her art. She is a firm believer in the “less is more” approach and loves clean, simple lines. Kara currently resides in Denton, Texas with her husband, Dave and two sons.
